Programs of Civil Air Patrol          Cadet Programs / Leadership - In the Cadet Programs, members are taught the value of self discipline, respect,          honor, integrity, loyalty, and many other beneficial character traits.          Aerospace Education / Aviation - This puts the Air in Civil Air Patrol. A member can study the physics and          mechanics of flight, and is also given the opportunity to pilot (or ride for free) small aircraft within the program.          Emergency Services / Search And Rescue - Cadets train long and hard in the field of Search and Rescue, for          aircraft and missing persons, while learning outdoors skills, first aid and survival techniques, and how to possibly save          someone's life. Because a mission could happen at any time...          Drill and Ceremonies / Color Guard - Building group discipline and teamwork, the Air Force-style drill is fun and          challenging for any age.
